Everyday Heroes

They deserve to have the world, to have all their hopes and dreams come true
Why? They are heroes. They say: Don’t worry everything is alright I won’t let anything happen to you.
They say: Sleep well for tonight and all other nights I will keep you safe.
They say: I will leave my home,
my family, and my friends to be there for you when you need me.
And more notably they say:
I will lay down my life for you.
They say all this and so much more to their families, friends, to total strangers even.
But they do not always say it with words. Instead most of them prefer to speak with their actions.
They risk their lives every day defending what they believe in and many have paid that ultimate price.
They are our everyday heroes trying to make this world a better and safer place for all.
Which is why they deserve to have all their dreams and hopes come true.
